Toasted hazelnuts, fresh sage and Grana Padano cheese all blended together perfectly. The difference with this pesto is that I freeze it to maintain freshness vs canning so no heat destroys the delicate flavours of the herbs. Perfect on pasta but also a great accompaniment with roasted turkey breast or fresh grilled halibut.
